I am a new diver.
I got these fins for my next dive trip because I wore out my Aeris Velocity fins.
They split in the heel after 6 months hard use. You see, I also use my fins for exercise 3-5 times a week at the community pool pushing a hard non-stop Kilometer to 1 mi. +
I tried the Oceanic Viper fins, but I soon gave them away because they hurt my ankles and and quadriceps. Much harder to push!
The split fin and angled design of the V6's make them the perfect fin for me compared to the old fashioned straight fin like the Viper.
In the V6 fin I experienced a firm fin with great propulsion and less stress on the ankles and quadriceps!
The V6's are much stiffer than the Aeris Velocity fins, making them more of a workout, but gaining excellent propulsion and cruising speed and very fast sprint speed.
So far I really love theses fins. If they last at least as long as the Aeris Velocity fins I will be happy! I will be putting them to the test! :)
