Received this mug and did not see that it was not dishwasher safe. After washing in dishwasher, water seeped in on side of mug. Could not get the water out. Had to throw it away without ever using it. At least it was free. (from giveaway) So HAND WASH ONLY. Sad, it was very nice. -

I don't have a mug as of yet. But I do believe this will keep any beverage hot or cold.
The main point is the design..a small sculpture with chrome and a 'grip' in a swirl like a wave around the mug. with a leak proof lid and an indention for holding.
If i can't "win" a mug on the 40th Anniversary year.. will just have to purchase a mug.
